1. Railroad Riches by Sega Sammy
I must say, this game checks all of the boxes – the graphics, the animations, the sounds, and the bonus features are all perfect!
While this game is a bit of the same in terms of two different bonuses – free games or six coins triggering a hold and spin type bonus feature – it feels new and unique by adding additional elements like:
- 4 different trains that can land during the bonus which each gives the player more winning potential
- Lift gates that activate new rows
- And the ultimate bonus goal – the gold train which is a separate bonus in the bonus that happens after the main bonus has ended.
The game creators also added good fortune which I always appreciate. When I hear that train horn, I know that I am about to be very happy with either a bonus or a big win.
And, by the way, good fortune can also happen DURING a bonus! I recently had good fortune during a hold and spin bonus that reset my spins to three by giving me a coin when nothing landed.
2. Mo Mo Mo Mummy
A fun and quirky slot machine from Aristocrat with laugh-out-loud animations that calls to slot players from across the room.
What I love most about Mo Mo Mo Mummy, aside from that adorable mummy, is its unique bonus feature. The original Mo Mummy slot machine introduced players to the Cash Collect bonus feature as one of three bonuses available.

This game has been out for a few years though newer versions have recently been showing up in casinos across Las Vegas. This slot gives players a chance to activate the bonus by cracking one, two, or even all three of the magic lamps – each game version has a bit of a difference in terms of the lamp’s features.
What I love most about this game are the beautiful graphics and the voice of the genie – which I inevitably mock the entire time I play, “May your wishes become riches!”. Also, this game does have good fortune so, at any time, the genie can grant the player’s wish by giving a bonus feature or a big win.
5. All Aboard by Konami
This is another slot machine that is certainly not new to the casino, but it continues to make my list of favorites.
What I particularly enjoy about All Aboard is the “Train Feature,” which offers players the chance to collect train symbols for repeater rewards, or as I like to explain it – each spin landing a train “sucks up all the numbers on the screen and adds them to your win meter”.
There are multiple versions of this game, but I tend to stick to the originals – Dynamite Dash or Piggy Pennies.
